Fields and Character Limits

Headline*

• Character limit: Recommended limit of 55 characters including spaces.
• Help Text: Help Text: Enter the headline text. There is a recommended limit of 55 characters including spaces. This field renders as an <h2>. See Headers for guidelines and best practices for headlines and sub-headlines.

Link URL*

• Help text: Start typing the title of a piece of content to select it. You can also enter an internal path such as /node/add or an external URL such as http://example.com. Enter <front> to link to the front page. Enter <nolink> to display link text only.

Link text

• Character limits: Recommended limit of 40 characters including spaces.
• Help Text: Enter the link text. There is a recommended limit of 40 characters including spaces. Avoid link text like Click Here, Learn More and More. See Links for more info, including accessibility concerns, examples and best practices.

Using on a cloneable Template

1. Locate List 5 –Associated Link List in the Body section
2. Select Edit
3. Replace the placeholder Headline
4. For each Link, select Edit and replace the placeholderURL and Link text for list item you’d like to use
5. To remove a list item, select the ellipsis on the right edge of the row and select Remove

6. To add an additional link select the Add Associated Link List Item button

7. Enter the URL and Link text
8. Select Save at the bottom left of the form

Adding to a new Content or Landing Page

1. In the Body area, select Add Body Section
2. Select List 5 –Associated Link List, select Add

3. Enter the Headline, URL and Link text
4. To add an additional link select the Add Associated Link List Item button

7. Select either Save as Draft or Published with the drop-down menu
8. Select Save at the bottom left of the form

Guidelines and Best Practices

• For the best user experience, be certain that you have a clear and concise headline. And, that all the links you include are meaningfully associated with your headline and the other links.
• There is no set limit to the number of links you can add to an "Associated Link List." However, if you have more than 10 links in your set, take a step back and consider if you can break that larger list down into smaller lists that will make it easier for users to find the information they are seeking.

Removing a Section

To permanently remove a section from a page:

1. Select the vertical ellipsis to the right of the Edit button at the top-right of your section, select Remove
