Header Sections Overview

The KU CMS - Sunflower pages are built using Sections. Think of a section like a layer of a cake.  The layers or sections stack on top of each other to build the page.

Header Sections:

• Header - Default

  • This header has a headline with a blue underline graphic.

• Header 1 – Hero Image w/Text Box

  • This header has a full-width hero image and a text box with an optional link. Choose left or right text orientation. Choose from three background colors for the text box.

• Header 2 – Headline w/1-2 Images

  • This header has a headline and one or two images. The layout is determined by the number of images.

• Header 3 – Callout Text

  • This header has a headline on a light steam colored box.

• Header 4 – Headline & Text

  • This header has a headline and an intro paragraph with up to three optional links. The headline can be either Sans Serif or Serif.

• Header 5 - Headline w/Image/Video

  • This header has a short headline that can be on top or bottom of a large photo or video.

• Header 7 – Two-Column

  • This header has a headline, a short text area, an image and an optional button. Select left or right text orientation.

• Header 8 – Large Image & Intro

  • The header has a large image and a small headline and text with an optional link below the image.

• Header 9 – Hero Image w/Notch Intro

  • ​​​​​​​The header has a hero image with a small headline and text with an optional link notched into the image.

• Header 10 – News Header

  • ​​​​​​​This header appears on news stories and blog posts.
