Button creation and use is the KU CMS - Sunflower is a much simpler process than in the past.

Buttons allow you to call attention to desired actions on a page. KU CMS – Sunflower makes button creation simple and straightforward.

There are two body sections exclusively for buttons.

  • Buttons are the most common way for users to take action on a page or a screen
  • Buttons invite users to take action. Links invite users to go elsewhere.
  • Don't use buttons for as navigation or repeat your site's navigation in the buttons
  • Use buttons strategically
  • Design your page for action
  • The placement of buttons matter
  • The button label should explain what the button does
  • The wording should be simple and concise
  • Avoid using too many buttons
  • Make the most important button look the most important
