Description

This section has an attributed pull quote with the quoted person’s image, name and title. Select center-aligned or left-aligned options.

Fields and Character Limits

Person Name*

  • Character limits: Recommended limit of 255 characters including spaces
  • Help text: Enter the name of the person the pull quote is attributed to. There is a recommended limit of 255 characters including spaces.

Person Title*

  • Character limits: Recommended limit of 255 characters including spaces
  • Help text: Enter the appropriate title for the person the pull quote is attributed to. There is a recommended limit of 255 characters including spaces.

Pull Quote*

  • Character limits: Recommended limit of 255 characters including spaces
  • Help text: Enter the pull quote text. There is a recommended limit of 255 characters including spaces.

Image*

  • Limits: 2MB, 768 x 768 pixels, png jpg jpeg.
  • Help Text: Move white plus icon to select your preferred focal point for automatic image cropping. See Images for guidance and best practices.
    • One file only
    • 2 MB limit
    • Allowed types: png jpg jpeg
    • Images must be larger than 768x768px

Alternative Text*

Using on a cloneable Marketing or Start Template

  1. Locate Body 3 – Pull Quote in the Body area
  2. Select Edit
  3. Replace the placeholder text with the Person Name, Person Title and Pull Quote
  4. Select Remove to remove the placeholder image
  5. Add an image select the Browse button to upload from your computer, or select the link Open File Browser to find a previously uploaded image
  6. Set the focal point by moving white plus icon to select your preferred focal point for automatic image cropping

  7. Enter the Alternative text
  8. Go to the Style Options tab and choose the Orientation

  9. Select Save at the bottom left of the page

Adding to a new Landing Page

  1. In the Body area, select Add Body Section
  2. Select Body 3 – Pull Quote, select Add

  3. Enter the Person Name, Person Title and Pull Quote
  4. Add an image select the Browse button to upload from your computer, or select the link Open File Browser to find a previously uploaded image

  6. Enter the Alternative text
  7. Go to the Style Options tab and choose the Orientation

  8. Select either Save as Draft or Published with the drop-down menu
  9. Select Save at the bottom left of the form

Guidelines and Best Practices

  • Use this section when you have a pull quote that you would like to call out on the page.
  • This section works well for quotes from interviews or student or faculty spotlights.
  • Be aware of the quote length. This section works best when the quote is brief and a single paragraph.
  • The image is considerably larger when the alignment is set to Left Aligned

Removing a Section

To permanently remove a section from a page:

  1. Select the vertical ellipsis to the right of the Edit button at the top-right of your section, select Remove
